Raiders shine in Canal 54 race series #2 regatta

Last weekend the Raiders competed at the Canal 54 Race Series #2 Regatta in Fellsmere, Florida. The Raiders  had 32 athletes compete in 13 events. The regatta ended up being another dual meet vs Sebastian River Rowing due to other teams not being able to attend for various reasons at the last minute. Conditions were optimal early but wind speeds would make rowing more difficult as the day went on with 15-20 mph winds. The Raiders would find success in the  Boys 8+, Girls Varsity 4+, Girls Lightweight 1x, and the Girls Varsity 2x with victories.  The Raiders also had a strong showing in the Girls Junior 8+, the Girls Lightweight 2x and the Boys Junior 2x. The team will get back to training as they prepare for the Miami International Regatta/ FSRA South District Championships on April 1st, in Miami. We hope to see you there and supporting our athletes!
