Raiders roll on teacher appreciation night

Sophomore Annabella Miki '25 led the way going 2-4 from the plate with 5 RBI's, including a two run homer as the Raiders defeated Carrollton 9-2 in front of a large crowd on teacher appreciation night. Senior Katelynn Herrera '23 had another strong performance going 1-2 with an RBI and run scored in the victory. Defensively, the Raiders were sharp allowing just two runs against a good Carrollton lineup. Senior Leah Maduro '23 provided a solid outing on the mound in a complete game, 15 strikeout victory. With the victory, the Raiders move to 4-2 to end the first half of the season. A big thank you to all the teachers who are student athletes identified as having a significant impact on their lives. We appreciate all you do.
