Student wins second place at Beaux Arts

Misha Gowda '28 won second place for her photograph "Eye Phone" in the Mixed Media class of the 2023 Beaux Arts Student Showcase, a juried contest that involves high school and middle school students across Miami-Dade County. Also featured at the April 27 awards event at The Lowe Art Museum were works by Ale De Lorenzi '27, Alex Ansin '27, Annabella Ciocca '28, Vlad Ponomarenko '25 and Taylor Smith '25, all of whom received finalist recognition.
The students worked under faculty members Connie Hyde, Elsa Munoz and Matt Stock.
