Students showcase summer projects during internship forum

RE students studied stem cells, fusion, cocaine detection and autism last summer. They assisted with federal immigration hearings, taught number theory, and learned marketing. Others created art installations or did coding. The 4th Annual Student Internship Forum at the Lewis Family Auditorium Feb. 1 highlighted those summer projects and more.
Many of the internships were arranged through the Summer Learning through Internships and Mentoring (SLIM) program overseen by physics teacher Paul Natland '02. More more information, visit the program website.

Ransom Everglades invites interested alumni, parents, friends of RE, schools, labs or companies to consider hosting internships that will allow current Ransom Everglades students the opportunity to get hands-on, practical experience in a field of interest.
