RE students visit 10 colleges on summer tour

Thirty-six rising seniors and four RE counselors in the midst of a 10-stop college tour paused for a photo at New York University. The annual student excursion began June 4 at Harvard, went through Northeastern and Tufts, on to Boston College and Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Mass. Students took in Trinity and Wesleyan before heading to New York University, Columbia and the University of Pennsylvania.
The team returns to Miami June 9.

Director of College Counseling Marty Elkins reported midway through that everyone has had a terrific time while collecting important information.

"It's been a busy, informative and fun trip," Elkins wrote in an email. "We all will return to Ransom Everglades with insights into widely differing colleges – and humorous memories."
