MS art students win recognition

RE's Middle School arts program celebrated a host of good news: Ricky Sucre Gil '23 won first prize at the Beaux Arts Student Showcase in January as seven fellow Middle School students won acceptance into the annual Celebrate Art (Logan, Utah) scholastic contest.
Sucre Gil, who along with Natasha Rodriguez '23, Harrison Stone '24, Jacob Katz '24, Francisco Gomez Rivas-Vazquez ' 24 and Myles Heller '24 had his work exhibited at the Beaux Arts Festival at the University of Miami Jan. 12-13, finished first in the Digital Arts category.
 
In other news, pieces by Julia Cuy '25, Mack Srebnick '25, Lucas Carvalho '23, Sarah Velazco ' 23, Jackson McAliley ' 23, Riley Miles '23 and Alexa Geller '23 were accepted into the juried Celebrate Art contest.
