  • Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Upends Miami Killian, Advances to District Final

    Ellie Dyke had a hatrick, 1 assist and 3 draw controls and Sophia Antezana contributed 2 goals, 1 assist, 4 draw controls and 3 ground balls as the Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Team defeated Miami Killian 20-2 in the district semifinal matchup at Miami Killian High School. Isa Goyanes (1 assist ), Coco Sell and Hannah Waibel added 2 goals apiece. Maya Rego stuffed the stat sheet with 1 goal, 2 assists, 3 ground balls and 3 caused turnovers. Georgia Crosby, Brinson Cusack, Gaby Pena and Mackenzie White each recorded a goal and an assist. Calliste Skouras (5 draw controls, 3 grounds balls), Jojo Pena (3 draw controls), Sophie Bernstein (3 ground balls, 1 draw control) and Marley Rywell rounded out the scoring for the Raiders with 1 goal each. Isa Ponce tallied 1 assist. The team will vie for a district title on Thursday afternoon at 2:00 PM against Coral Reef at Miami Killian High School.

  • Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Rolls to Victory

    Calliste Skouras recorded a game-high 5 goals and won 3 draw controls as the Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Team traveled to University School and defeated the Sharks, 20-1. Sophia Antezana (1 assist and 2 draw controls), Ellie Dyke (1 assist and 1 draw control) and Gaby Pena contributed 3 goals apiece. Georgia Crobsy added 2 goals while Maya Rego (5 draw controls), Rachel Bienstock (1 assist), Jojo Pena and Mackenzie White netted a goal each. Coco Sell dished out 2 assists and Vicky Porto picked up 3 ground balls. Helaina Harris made 7 saves in goal.

  • Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Has Successful Trip to the Keys

    The Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse Team traveled to the Keys over Spring Break and picked up two road victories. In the first contest Sophia Antezana led the Raiders with 3 goals, 6 assists and 7 draw controls and Calliste Skouras contributed 3 goals, 4 assists and 3 draw controls as the team defeated the Key West Conchs, 21-3. Ellie Dyke recorded a hatrick while Maya Rego, Rachel Bienstock, Gaby Pena, Jojo Pena and Coco Sell each netted two goals apiece. Dyke, Rego and Georgia Crosby dished out 2 assists while J. Pena won 3 draw controls. Daelyn Einhorn and Isa Goyanes rounded out the scoring with 1 goal apiece. Goaltender Helaina Harris had 10 saves and 4 caused turnovers. In the second game of the trip the team defeated Coral Shores, 16-1. Antezana (3 assists, 5 caused turnovers and 6 draw controls) and Dyke (1 assist) both scored a game-high 4 goals. Skouras stuffed the stat sheet with 3 goals, 1 assist, 7 ground balls and 8 draw controls while J. Pena contributed 1 goal, 2 assists, 7 ground balls and 3 draw controls. Rounding out the scoring for the Raiders was C. Sell with 2 goals, G. Pena with 1 goal and Bienstock with 1 goal and 5 ground balls. Goaltender Helaina Harris made 2 saves on 3 shots and caused 3 turnovers. The team went 100% on draw controls.

  • Offensive Firepower Leads Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Past American Heritage-Plantation

    Calliste Skouras recorded 6 goals, 2 assists, 8 draw controls and 2 ground balls while Sophia Antezana contributed 7 goals, 1 assist and 6 draw controls as the Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Team defeated American Heritage-Plantation on Friday evening by a score of 20-4. Ellie Dyke (3 goals, 4 assists), Gaby Pena (2 goals, 2 assists) and Jessica Lee (2 goals) helped lead the offensive onslaught. Other notable highlights include: Maya Rego with 3 assists and 4 draw controls, Jojo Pena with 3 ground balls and 1 caused turnover and Neely Amdur with 1 ground ball and 1 caused turnover. Goaltender Helaina Harris made 5 saves between the pipes for the Raiders who have maintained an unblemished record of 8-0.

    Sophia Antezana, Ellie Dyke and Calliste Skouras each recorded 4 goals as the Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Team won their 7th straight by defeating district foe Miami Palmetto on Tuesday evening. Gaby Pena, Maya Rego and Coco Sell contributed 2 goals apiece. Mackenzie White added a goal of her own while Jojo Pena won 6 draw controls and caused 2 turnovers. Sloane Sell picked up 2 ground balls while Sophie Bernstein picked up 1. Assists were registered by Antezana (3), Dyke (2), Skouras (2), Rego (1) and White (1). Goaltender Helaina Harris was a defensive force with 7 saves and 2 ground balls.

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida.
