Summer Programs
For Sixth-Grade Only (FSGO)
FSGO offers a special combination of academic preparation and enrichment, study and organization skills, and social interaction for rising-sixth graders (entering any school, not only RE) as students attend class in the morning and then can join an arts, sports or specialty camp for the afternoon.
Students select two morning classes – Math, English Language Arts or Spanish – and all courses emphasize general study skills (i.e. time management, note taking, organization, collaboration, etc.) that prepare each student for a successful sixth-grade year.
An assessment from the faculty member is provided to each student at the end of the summer.

*Some afternoon electives such as A.I., Game Design, or Drones require more expensive supplies that demand a higher tuition.

Meals:
Lunch and a healthy snack is included each day. We are a 100% nut-free and seed free campus, so outside food is strictly prohibited. SAGE Catering offers hot and cold selections, catering to vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and lactose free dietary restrictions every day.
What to bring:
For morning classes, a small supplies list (i.e. folder, notebook, pen/pencil) will be emailed prior to the start of the program.
Campers are provided with a t-shirt, water bottle, and drawstring bag on the first day of camp. Otherwise, there is no strict dress code for morning classes. If they are participating in an arts, sports, or specialty program for an afternoon elective, please review the information listed underneath that sport on the Summer Programs web page.

Each day, we recommend campers bring sunscreen and a water bottle. On days with swimming scheduled, campers should bring a bathing suit, towel, and pair of flip flops or water shoes that can get wet, as well as a change of clothes for their afternoon elective (or their ride home after lunch).
We ask that parents clearly label all clothes, towels and water bottles. Ransom Everglades is not responsible for any lost or misplaced items. A lost and found will be held in the Summer Camp office, and it will close on the last day of camp. Any unclaimed items will be donated.

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida.
