Raiders make history earning highest state finish ever

The Ransom Everglades boys varsity golf team made RE history placing 6th, a school best at the FHSAA 1A State Golf ChampionshipThe state tournament was held at the Historic Mission Inn & Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. El Campeon, as the course is known, ranks as one of the most difficult golf courses in the state. The Raiders were led by junior Jesse Hellring '25 (t-8) and senior Jackson Langer '24 (t-34th) who played steady golf over the two-day tournament.  Sophomore Hugo Stenstrom '26 (t-41st) sixth grader Axel Monssoh '30  (t-63rd), and senior Nick Viana (t-69th) turned in solid performances to round out the scoring. After reaching the state finals in six of the previous seven seasons the Raiders accomplished their highest state finish in Ransom Everglades history to cap off an incredibly special season. Congratulations to all players and coaches..
