Alumni gathered for a fun-filled Alumni Weekend 2024
Alumni came back home for Alumni Weekend 2024, traveling from as far afield as London and as far back as the Class of 1962. Sharing countless hugs and handshakes, exploring old haunts, and reminiscing over meals, more than 325 alumni across six decades enjoyed a series of special events and activities on both campuses from April 19-21.

'Everglades Girls' return for International Women's Day assembly
Four Everglades School for Girls alumnae visited RE to mark the school's celebration of International Women's Day, joining an upper school assembly with members of the student club Women Empowerment on March 5. Betty Wiseheart Joyce '70, Beth Kaiser '76 and Karen (Flannery) Jones '72 took seats in the front row of the Lewis Family Auditorium as club president Maggie Seabrook '24 interviewed Roxi Badia Morgenstern '75, and various club members presented history, trivia and traditions of the Everglades School for Girls.Read More -

Alumni assemble to learn about real estate trends
Ransom Everglades alumni gathered for a roundtable discussion on Miami real estate trends led by three prominent RE alumni with decades of experience in the field. John Shubin ’79, founder and CEO of The Euclid Group, directed a wide-ranging conversation in the Posner Lecture Hall on Feb. 15 with Rudy Prio Touzet ’76, founding partner and CEO of Banyan Street Capital, and Warren Weiser ’77, partner and founder of CREC Capital.Read More -
Alumni reunite in New York City in January
More than 80 RE friends and alumni from the Classes of 1975 to 2020 gathered at the annual NYC Area Reception at the Yale Club in late January to REconnect and visit with Head of School Rachel Rodriguez and COO and Interim Head of the Upper School David Clark ’86. Young Ransom Everglades alumni return to RE
Dozens of alumni from the Classes of 2020 through 2023 returned to Ransom Everglades for lunch with students and faculty at La Brisa on January 11, a high-spirited reunion that took place after the Young Alumni College Panel for RE's junior class. That panel discussion on the college process and college life featured thoughtful advice and reminiscences from six alumni: Julia Buckner '20 (Wellesley), Lucia Rose Dahn '23 (Brown), Alex Dray '21 (Duke), Jack Fitzpatrick '20 (Wake Forest), Ana Gonzalez '23 (Princeton) and Yuhan Liu '21 (University of Pennsylvania) in the Lewis Family Auditorium. Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida. Ransom Everglades School produces graduates who "believe that they are in the world not so much for what they can get out of it as for what they can put into it." The school provides rigorous college preparation that promotes the student's sense of identity, community, personal integrity and values for a productive and satisfying life, and prepares the student to lead and to contribute to society.
