Raiders Advance to District Semifinal in Record-Breaking Win
The Raider girls basketball team punched its ticket to the district semifinal in record-breaking fashion with a 38–21 victory over Edison Senior High School. Eighth grader Victoire Paulet ’30 delivered a historic performance, breaking the school record with 32 rebounds to go along with 12 points and 5 blocks in a dominant all-around effort. Paulet controlled the paint from start to finish and set the tone defensively for the Raiders. Junior Holly Clement '27 added 8 points and 9 rebounds as she continues to work her way back from a foot injury, while sophomore Nica Rosenberg '28 rounded out the scoring with 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals. With the win, the Raiders advance to the district semifinal and will travel to LaSalle on Wednesday for a matchup between the district’s #2 and #3 seeds. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
