Stay Connected

Whether you are an alum of Everglades, Ransom, or Ransom Everglades, your association with Ransom Everglades lasts a lifetime. Get involved and stay connected – the Ransom Everglades School of today is exciting and thriving. The first step is to join REconnect, a platform that will allow you to connect with your reunion class, network, seek internship opportunities and more. If you haven’t been back to campus recently, make this the year you attend your reunion or visit us in Coconut Grove. As ambassadors you have an important voice in encouraging promising students to consider our school; as reunion volunteers and attendees at regional events you foster an important bridge from past to present; and your regular investment in The Fund for RE ensures that today’s students have the finest educational experience possible. We can't wait to hear from you!

How You Can Help

Thanks to the participation of our fellow alumni, we are able to provide many opportunities to get involved. Whether you want to help with fundraising efforts, participate in service, help organize a reunion or serve as a class agent, you can help further the mission of Ransom Everglades as an alum. We thank you in advance and look forward to hearing from you.

Vanessa Chartouni-de la Serna ’90 co-president of the RE Alumni Association Board

“I often say that I feel closer and more connected to Ransom Everglades today, 31 years after I graduated, than I ever did as a student, and that speaks to the incredible uniqueness of our school and our outstanding faculty, and the amazing RE community … It’s a place where you make connections and community for life.”
Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida. Ransom Everglades School produces graduates who "believe that they are in the world not so much for what they can get out of it as for what they can put into it." The school provides rigorous college preparation that promotes the student's sense of identity, community, personal integrity and values for a productive and satisfying life, and prepares the student to lead and to contribute to society.
