Alumni Events and Reunions

Save the Dates!

We hope you will join us for Alumni Weekend April 21-23, 2023! We will celebrate all alumni, and also hold special get-togethers for those celebrating milestone reunions: Classes of Everglades 1963, 1968 and 1973; Ransom 1963, 1968 and 1973; Ransom Everglades 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998 and 2003. We will share more information on this page, and also keep you up to date about local and other events.

The 2022 alumni weekend brought together RE alumni from as far afield as London and as far back as the 1950s, and it introduced the 50 Year Club (honoring alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago), a Black Alumni Reception and an Earth Day waterfront cleanup. It also included the traditional Friday evening Alumni Cocktail Reception and Buffet, the Head of School Luncheon, alumni sports and a powerful Service of Remembrance that honored recently departed members of the RE community, including legendary teacher Mike Stokes. Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida. Ransom Everglades School produces graduates who "believe that they are in the world not so much for what they can get out of it as for what they can put into it." The school provides rigorous college preparation that promotes the student's sense of identity, community, personal integrity and values for a productive and satisfying life, and prepares the student to lead and to contribute to society.
