Emergency Learning Plan

In the event of a weather event or other emergency that forces us to close our campuses for a period of time, Ransom Everglades will utilize this Emergency Learning Plan. This plan is designed to help keep students engaged in their learning when we are unable to access our campuses, such as after a major storm.

The goal will be to connect our students with teachers who can direct them through asynchronous or synchronous work.
 
The first step in executing this plan is ensuring that RE students take home their laptops, styluses and chargers every night – their devices should never be left at school. Ransom Everglades will communicate with families if it becomes necessary to implement this plan. When implemented, students will follow the schedule shown, logging in to classes virtually. The virtual meeting links for each class will be shared below.

Emergency Learning Schedule

Please find Ransom Everglades’ Emergency Learning Schedule below. To participate in Emergency Learning, students should scroll down to each of their classes to find the designated remote link (Google Meet). They should log into each class link (using their Ransom Everglades email) at the scheduled time using the subject-matter schedule below.
7:30 - 8:15 a.m.  – Physical Education
8:15 - 8:25 a.m. – Assembly (separate for US and MS)
8:30 - 9:15 a.m. – English
9:45 - 10:30 a.m. – Mathematics and Computer Science
11 - 11:45 a.m. – History and Social Sciences
1 - 1:45 p.m. – World Languages
2:15 - 3 p.m. – Science
3:15 - 4 p.m. – Performing/Visual Arts
