The REpurpose Uniform and Book Initiative is a volunteer (and student-volunteer) led project to promote a sense of community and to support sustainability at Ransom Everglades. Uniform and book/textbook items donated by RE families will be sorted by volunteers and those determined to be in good (or better!) condition will be available free of charge to all RE families. The first step is drop off items on the MS and US campuses May 28 through May 31. Please bring your used RE polos, hoodies, shorts, skirts or RE club or sport swag. Place items in the designated boxes at drop-off loops. For books, bring any textbooks or school reading books and place in the designated bins or on the designated tables at the middle or upper school.
RE families are invited to come select MS uniforms and clothing items at REdistribution “Pop Shops” on Tuesday, June 4, or Wednesday, June 5, from 4:30 - 7:30 PM at the middle school gym.
Pop Shops will also be open on August 15 and 16, 2024, from 4:30-7:30 PM at the MS Library.
NOTE REGARDING BOOKS: Only books for rising 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grades will be available at the middle school events. More information about US book REdistribution for grades 10, 11, and 12 will be announced later this summer once student course schedules are released.
Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida. Ransom Everglades School produces graduates who "believe that they are in the world not so much for what they can get out of it as for what they can put into it." The school provides rigorous college preparation that promotes the student's sense of identity, community, personal integrity and values for a productive and satisfying life, and prepares the student to lead and to contribute to society.
