A Middle School Drama presentation. Based on the novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, Peter and the Starcatcher is a Tony Award-winning play that serves as a hilarious and imaginative prequel to Peter Pan. It explains how an unnamed orphan boy became Peter Pan through his adventures with a young starcatcher-in-training named Molly. The plot involves a mystical trunk of "starstuff," a ship overrun by pirates led by the fearsome Black Stache, and a journey that explores themes of friendship, duty, and growing up. A versatile cast of actors plays over 100 characters, using clever staging and boundless imagination to bring this heartwarming tale to life. See the poster.
