VSOxARC Carnival
For nearly 20 years, the student run VSOxARC Carnival, a school-wide charity event, has benefitted The Arc of South Florida, a non-profit that serves over 60,000 citizens with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Miami-Dade County.
VSOxARC Carnival began as a day for athletic competitions in swimming, basketball, and jogging under the name Swoop-A-Thon, and has grown since to include carnival-style activities that are hosted by Ransom Everglades clubs.

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida.
