Fifth straight title for girls' lacrosse

The girls' lacrosse team won its fifth straight district title April 18 with a 17-4 victory over Coral Reef at Miami Killian High, sending the Raiders to the regional quarterfinals on April 25. Ellie Dyke 21 led RE with six goals and one assist; Sophia Antezana '20 tallied five goals and three assists; and Calliste Skouras '19 chipped in three goals with two assists.
Helaina Harris '20 made five saves, and Gabrielle Pena '20 (two goals) and Jessica Lee '19 (one goal) rounded out the scoring. The team, led by first-year coach Kiersten Mulvey, defeated Key West High, 17-3, in the regional quarterfinal before falling to St. Thomas High School, 8-6, in the regional semifinal.
