US art, literary magazines released

The annual Upper School art magazine PEEL and literary magazine Inklings were released on the Ransom Campus and can be viewed online. The 2019 PEEL was dedicated to Beatriz Carmen Mendoza '98, one of the PEEL founders who passed away last Nov. 21. The 2019 Inklings offers a collection of individual stories designed to present a shared narrative, illustrating what unites us. See them here: PEEL, Inklings.
PEEL faculty sponsor Astrid Dalins and PEEL editor Chloe Chua '19 announced the dedication at a May 7 Upper School assembly. Marisa Fort ’98, Bea's best friend and fellow PEEL founder, accepted the recognition on her behalf. Ransom Everglades Art League (REAL) president Sofia Andrade '19 and vice president Isabella Taranto ’20 joined the dedication.

Inklings, assembled under the direction of student editor Sarah Rahman '19 and faculty sponsor Amy Lanning, was due to be distributed May 15 on the Ransom Campus.
