Raiders sail to success

This past weekend the Raiders participated in their first South Points Regatta of the season. The Intracoastal Waterway venue in Broward County, notorious for shifty winds challenged and frustrated the fleet throughout the day. The varsity team was able to navigate through the difficult conditions to finish second in the 25 team field and continue its strong start to the season.

In the junior varsity competition the Raiders fielded two teams as freshman Skippers Jackson McAliley 23' and Olivia Drugard '23 along  with veteran crews of Gabe Vianna 21' and  Lucas Vianna '21 dominated the16 boat fleet with top finishes throughout the day. Congratulations to all our sailors on a fantastic competition.
