REinventing Excellence

A Campaign to Build for the Future

It has been an honor to lead this campaign, and we are excited by the progress that we have made together. As we look at both the physical changes to the school and the educational advances being implemented, we can appreciate the extraordinary, life-changing experiences that take place on our campuses.

At the beginning of the REinventing Excellence campaign, we recognized that, just as those who came before us supported this school, we needed to do all that we could to ensure that Ransom Everglades’ legacy of honor and excellence would continue into the future. And we have called upon our fellow community members to join us in this effort.
To date, donors have contributed $49 million toward the campaign goal of $75 million. Together, all gifts support a strong financial foundation at RE. When you give to this campaign, you are helping to ensure that we have the annual funds to react quickly to needs as they arise, the endowed funds to create a growing source of income for the future and the capital funds to improve facilities for current and future students.

Thank you to those who have already joined us on this journey. You are helping us build for the future while honoring our past.

For those new to the community, we invite every family to start their philanthropy at RE with a gift to The Fund for Ransom Everglades. We hope, too, that each family will be inspired to stretch its giving during the REinventing Excellence campaign, whether through an increased gift to The Fund for RE or an additional gift to one of the campaign priorities.

For those who have yet to join us, please stand with us. This is the perfect time to get involved as we push towards the next phase of our campaign goals. There are gift opportunities at every level and for every interest.

We hope you are as inspired as we are by the opportunity to contribute to a major transformation that not only benefits our children, but also ensures that the contributions of our school and graduates continue to reverberate throughout the City of Miami and beyond.

Thank you all for your commitment to the Ransom Everglades community.

Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida. Ransom Everglades School produces graduates who "believe that they are in the world not so much for what they can get out of it as for what they can put into it." The mission of Ransom Everglades School is to provide an educational environment in which the pursuit of honor, academic excellence and intellectual growth is complemented by concern for the physical, cultural and character development of each student. The school provides rigorous college preparation that promotes the student's sense of identity, community, personal integrity and values for a productive and satisfying life, and prepares the student to lead and to contribute to society.
