Seven RE students selected for Beaux Arts Festival

Seven Ransom Everglades’ visual artists – four middle schoolers and three from the upper school – won acceptance to the 69th Annual Beaux Arts Festival of Art, which will exhibit their works at the Lowe Art Museum at the University of Miami Jan. 18-19.
Judges selected for the Student Art Showcase the artwork of Lauren Page 24, Mia Bouyoucef 25, Marley Carrillo 25, Alexandra Leiser 25 and Yuhan Liu ’21. Siblings Hanna Hicks ’21 and Sebastian Hicks ’21 won inclusion for their photographs.

The middle schoolers have benefited from art teachers Elsa Munoz, Ellen Grant and Connie Hyde; Liu is a student of Astrid Dalins; and the Hicks siblings are students of Matt Stock.
