Raiders victorious in season opener
Led by freshman Jackson Langer's '24 incredible hole in one at the 324 yard par 4 sixth hole the Raiders defeated a strong Westminster Christian team by a score of 174 to 179. Difficult greens and breezy conditions made scoring difficult for both sides. Langer led the way with a 3 over par 38, followed by junior, Mihir Pabby 22' with a 9 over par 44. Sophomore, Kobe Lopez '23 and freshman Andrew Bianchi '24 rounded out the scoring with a 45 and 47. The Raiders will attempt to get to 2-0 when they take on Columbus High School Wednesday afternoon at Miami Springs Golf Club. First tee time is set for 4:30 PM.
