Raiders run well in boys and girls opening meet

Junior, Madison Munroe '22, and senior Brooke Scott '21 carded top five finishes at the three team meet hosted by Palmer Trinity as they completed the 5000 meter final in times of 21:00 (Munroe) and 22:11 (Scott). Overall, Ransom Everglades defeated Palmer Trinity by 38 points but fell just short to Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart by four points. In the boys division senior Alexander Dray 21' and junior Felipe De Cardenas '22 placed second and third respectively with times of 18:14 and 18:26 in a tightly contested dual match with Palmer Trinity. Both teams will get back to work this afternoon as they get ready for the district championship meet in a few weeks.
