Students recognized for AP exam excellence

Two Ransom Everglades seniors – Yuhan Liu '21 and Viviana Vela '21 – won National AP Scholar recognition for their consistently excellent performance on multiple Advanced Placement exams during their high school years, as the College Board also commended dozens of their peers at RE.
RE students earned AP Scholar with Distinction, AP Scholar with Honor, and AP Scholar honors. The awards are given for success on multiple AP exams throughout high school. Younger RE students will advance through the recognition levels as they engage in future AP testing, and seniors can also climb the recognition ladder with end-of-year test results.

The National AP Scholar distinction is granted to U.S. students who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of the exams. AP Scholars with Distinction must achieve an average score of 3.5 or more all all exams, and a 3 or more on at least five. AP Scholars with Honor must achieve an average of 3.25 and a 3 or more on at least four exams. AP Scholars must receive a 3 or higher on at least three AP exams.
