RE students will organize, direct, stage and deliver a brand-new event on April 24, 2021 – TEDxRansomEverglades, which will provide a forum for live talks on the theme "Breaking Barriers." A youth version of the TEDx events previously held at RE, TEDxRansomEverglades will be shared via livestream and, if feasible, to a limited audience inside the Lewis Family Auditorium. Upper school organizers are seeking talent from among students, faculty and staff for the event.
Applications to participate in TEDxRansom Everglades, a TEDx Youth event, must be submitted by December 21; for more information, email tedxransomeverglades@gmail.com. Isabella Henriquez '21 and Valeria Solorzano '21 are lead organizers. See the rest of the team below.
"This is student-led and student-organized," Henriquez said during an upper school assembly. "That makes it kind of special, more like a community environment."
TEDxCoconutGrove called Ransom Everglades home for a number of years, attracting talent from inside and outside the RE community. The organizers are accepting applications through December 21.
