Band executes online music performance assessment

Ransom Everglades debuted newly engineered performance software for the Florida Bandmasters Association during a November 14 Music Performance Assessment, successfully executing the first remote event of the 2020-21 school year in Florida. Thirteen middle school band members and 29 upper school band members participated in the FBA District 20 Solo assessment. All adjudication was done virtually. On-campus band students performed from the music rooms on their respective campuses, and remote students performed from home with recorded accompaniment.
All students received verbal critiques from their adjudicators following their performances. Cathi Leibinger directed RE’s middle school students; Jon Hamm directed the upper school students.
