Eighth grader earns a perfect score on national math test
Solon Sun '25 was one of only 1,165 eighth-grade students across the nation to earn a perfect score on the Noetic Learning Math Contest Spring 2021. His score placed him in roughly the top 3.25 percent, earning him a place on the National Honor Roll along with Robert Li '26, whose score placed him in the top eight percent of seventh-grade students who took the exam. The Noetic Learning event is a semiannual problem-solving contest for elementary and middle school students. The students participate in the middle school math team under the direction of faculty member Ginny Onorati.
