Senior named Female Scholar Athlete of the Year

Lindsay Gould '21 was named Female Scholar Athlete and 4A-2A Soccer Player of the Year in Miami-Dade County as soccer player Danny Mendoza '21 and lacrosse star Ellie Dyke '21 won player of the year honors in their respective sports and Jackie Kisthardt claimed girls' lacrosse coach of the year honors during the Miami Herald's athletic awards ceremony on May 26.

Meanwhile, 12 Ransom Everglades spring sport student-athletes won first-team all-county recognition and more than three dozen spring-sport athletes were highlighted by the media company in its annual spring honor roll, which was released on May 24.

The annual end-of-year awards ceremony recognized all student-athletes who earned first-team recognition during the fall, winter and spring sport seasons, selecting players and coaches of the year in each discipline.  Mendoza also was a finalist for boys' scholar athlete of the year.
