Boys' golf sets school record

Jackson Langer '24 led the boys' golf team to a school record 4-under par (136) in a match against Miami Palmetto at the Biltmore Golf Course on August 31. Langer's 5-under par (30) was also the lowest on record at Ransom Everglades over nine holes, topping the former mark of 31 held by Jake Beber-Frankel '20. Nick Viana '24 contributed to the Raiders' victory with a 1-under par (34); Kobe Lopez '23 tallied 35; and Jesse Hellring '25 scored a 37. The Miami Herald featured Langer in a story Monday, noting that Langer's grandfather Jack Langer, a Brooklyn Dodgers draft pick, had appeared in the Herald in the 1950s. See that story here.
