Big second half propels Raiders to victory

Junior Daniel Ribeiro '23 led the way with 28 points, and senior Zach Marcus '22 recorded his first double double of the season with 10 points, and 10 rebounds in a 62-54 road victory over LaSalle High School. The Raiders were able to wash away an ugly first half with a 41 point second half on 65% shooting from the floor. Seniors Ale Tacher '22, Aidan Rothstein '22 and Eli Goldman '22 all came up with big plays in a 26-14 third quarter that gave the Raiders a double digit lead they would not relinquish. The victory moves the team to 4-2 on the season as they welcome Coral Shores into town for tonight's court of dreams event at the FTX Arena. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m and is part of a tripleheader starting with the boys varsity middle school team taking on Belen at 3:00 p.m. followed by the girls upper school varsity team taking on Coral Shores at 4:30 p.m. Tickets to the event can be purchased for 35.00 dollars using the link below and includes a ticket to a Miami Heat game at a later date.
