Raiders finish second in South Points Regatta # 6

The RE sailing team took to the water this past weekend in a highly competitive South Points regatta in Tampa, Florida. Sixtenn varsity, and seven junior varsity teams competed in the event in perfect weather conditions. In the varsity A division the Raiders were led by skipper Jackson McAliley '23 and his crew of Boris Bialer '22 and Eve Gonzalez-Whitehouse '22. The B division was led by skippers Olivia Drulard '23 and Ian Fox '24, and their crew of Sophia Adams '23 and Violet Martin '24. The Raiders and there long time respected rivals at Immaculata LaSalle High School went back and forth all day before LaSalle would edge out the Raiders for a second place finish. The Raiders will get back on the water for practices before the final regular season regatta takes place in Vero Beach the weekend of March 19th where the Raiders will have a chance to win the series championship.
