Raiders defend home court in three set sweep over Miami Country Day School
Sophomore Mia Jean-Claude '25 had 12 kills, and junior Andrea Ortiz '24 was terrific defensively as the Raiders defeated Miami Country Day School by scores of 25-16, 25-23, 26-24. Sophomore Addison Pollack '25 also had a strong game with 24 digs. The Raiders jumped out to a fast start in set one behind strong net play from senior Elise Echarte '23 and sophomore Julia Lewkowitz '25. Set two and three saw both teams go back and forth with the Raiders coming up with clutch plays late in both games to seal the victory. The Raiders will get back on the practice court today as they prepare for a road matchup with Gulliver Prep on Monday. First serve is set for 5:30 p.m.
