RE students named National Merit Semifinalists

Ten Ransom Everglades seniors earned National Merit Semifinalist recognition on Sept. 14 and will contend for $2,500 National Merit Scholarships. Arjun Badwal ‘23, Ryan Berkshire ‘23, Leon Fein ‘23, Theodore Ma ‘23, Nico Maynulet ‘23, Dylan Miner ‘23, Loren Pearson ‘23, Adrian Stone Perez ‘23, Alexis Tie-Shue ‘23 and Marco Zhao ‘23 earned the recognition with their performance on the PSAT examination last year.
The students were among more than 16,000 semifinalists from around the nation who were invited to continue in the scholarship competition by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, which began in 1955. 

National Merit Scholars will be announced next spring.
Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida.
