Raiders earn palm league playoff victory on senior night
Senior Ryan Courey '23 opened the scoring late in the first half on a great pass from junior Noa Abboud '24 to get the Raiders off to a strong start and 1-0 lead at halftime. In the second half the Raiders took complete control of the game with a pair of goals by senior Alex Denaro '23. Senior Kobe Lopez '23 would round out the scoring with a goal of his own in a 4-0 victory over Saint Andrews. Nicholas Sosa '23 added two assists in the win. The Raiders celebrated 11 seniors(Nicholas Goldberg '23, Kobe Lopez '23, Alex Denaro '23, Daniel Stancioff '23, Owen Craig '23, Ryan Courey '23, Nicholas Sosa '23, Christian Gardiner '23, Joaquin Palacino '23, Christian Sosa '23, Lucas Carvalho '23) whose careers include a state semifinal appearance, regional champions, and multiple district titles. Congratulations on wonderful careers and we look forward to the playoff run in front of you.
