Christina Iglesias

College Counseling Writing Specialist

I'm overjoyed to bring my experience as a writing instructor, independent college counselor and humanities teacher to Ransom Everglades in my hometown of Miami. Prior to my arrival at RE, I taught writing, composition and literature courses at Columbia University, where I earned a PhD in English and Comparative Literature. I also spent several years serving as a book editor, writing coach and independent college counselor, assisting students with college selection and essay development. Prior to my time at Columbia, I earned a BA in English with minors in Classics and Medieval and Early Modern Studies at the University of Florida. I graduated from Lourdes Academy here in Miami, where I now live with my husband and two boys. In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano and growing orchids.
