Freshman Julian Silvetz '28 led the way with 19 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals as the Raiders rolled to a 65-20 victory over Miami Seed School to earn their first victory of the season. Sophomore Isaac Weinberg '27 provided a spark off the bench with 10 points, and three rebounds. Following a tough defeat on Tuesday the Raiders came out strong from the opening tip with 12 straight points including a pair of three pointers from junior Quinn Pegg '26 and senior Connor Gumbs '25. From there the Raiders would cruise to victory and move to 1-1 on the season. The team will get back on the court today as they begin preparations for a Saturday matinee vs North Miami Senior High School. Tip off is scheduled for 12:00 at Henry A. Anderson Gymnasium.
