Local children enjoy selecting gifts for RE's annual Toy Store
Children in Coconut Grove loved "shopping" for the toys and books donated by students at Ransom Everglades School during the annual middle school toy drive, a tradition for some 30 years. More than 140 children visited Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church to select gifts from about 500 children's items on December 7, and they were assisted by RE student volunteers and faculty members Flavia Araripe, Maria Eugenia Abrante and Ramona Miller.
