Raider baseball moves to 2-0
Junior Tino Pena '26 picked up the victory striking out eight batters over three innings as the Raiders moved to 2-0 on the season. Senior Mason Lastra '25 sent one over the fence for his first homerun of the season as the Raider bats continued their torrid start to the season. Junior Juan Velazco '26 added four hits, three RBI's and four runs scored including three doubles. In total the Raiders combined for 19 hits in 33 at bats on the evening in a 19-0 route of Pinecrest North Prep Academy. The Raiders will have a quick turnaround as the host Hialeah Miami Lakes this evening at the Boys and Girls Club of Miami. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
