Middle school drama students travel the high seas with Peter and the Starcatcher

Precocious orphans, ruthless pirates and a fearless girl went on a high-seas, high-stakes adventure in Peter and the Starcatcher at Swenson Hall November 12-14. A 25-person middle school cast brought this prequel to Peter Pan to life with skill, spirit and humor. Alexa Forgacs '31 played the girl Molly, Pace Caplow '30 played Peter; Chloe Eramil Pierre '32 and Alyssa Wang '32 starred as orphans, Izzy Greengrass '30 shined as Black Stache and James Harper '30 excelled as Captain Slank under the direction of RE performing arts teacher Gina Montet.
Based on the novel by Dave Barry (RE's commencement speaker in 2024) and Ridley Pearson, the Tony Award-winning play explains how a no-name orphan boy became Peter Pan through his adventures with Molly, a starcatcher-in-training.
