Raiders move to 7-2 with straight set road victory
The Raider girls volleyball team continued its strong start to the season, improving to 7-2 with a straight-set victory over Florida Christian on the road. Junior Evangeline Steiner ’28 recorded seven kills, while senior Sarah Wals ’27 added seven kills and three blocks. Freshman Adriana Hufsky ’30 turned in a strong all-around performance with nine kills and six blocks. Sophomore Nalah Picchetti ’29 helped orchestrate the Raider attack, finishing with 17 assists, five digs, and two aces. The victory marked the Raiders’ third consecutive win and capped off a successful road trip. With a week before their next competition, the Raiders will return to the practice courts with an opportunity to fine-tune their game and prepare for a crucial week ahead.
