Fischer '29 captures individual title as Raiders finish runner-ip at Palm League Championship

The Ransom Everglades girls golf team turned in an outstanding performance at the Palm League Championship on Monday at the historic Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables, finishing runner-up among a field featuring several of South Florida’s top high school programs. The Raiders carded a team score of 294 (+10) on the par-71 course to finish second, just six strokes behind Pine Crest (288). Top-ranked Benjamin finished third at 298 (+14), followed by North Broward Prep, Gulliver Prep, St. Andrews and Oxbridge Academy. Leading the way for the Raiders was sophomore Nina Fischer '29, who captured the individual championship with a spectacular 4-under-par 67. Fischer’s round tied Pine Crest’s Harper Kiss for the low score of the day, sending the two players to a playoff to determine the individual champion. Fischer came through when it mattered most, winning on the first playoff hole to claim the Palm League individual title.
Fischer’s championship performance highlighted another strong showing from the Raiders’ lineup. Sophomore Esha Nagalla '29 delivered an even-par 71 to finish among the tournament’s top players, while junior Ella Wester '28 posted a solid 77 (+6). With a runner-up team finish and an individual championship from Fischer, the Raiders continued to establish themselves among the top girls golf programs in South Florida.
