The #8-ranked Raiders in Class 1A traveled north to Tequesta on Friday to compete in the prestigious Cardinal Newman Invitational at Turtle Creek Club, one of South Florida’s premier golf venues. Facing a talented field that included 3A #1 Jupiter, 3A #4 William T. Dwyer, and 1A #3 Oxbridge Academy, the Raiders delivered one of their strongest team performances of the season, firing a 293 (+5) to finish T-4th against some of the top programs in the state. Senior Zachary Fischer '27 led the way with an outstanding 70 (-2), setting a new career-best score at Ransom Everglades. Sophomore Pablo Muñoz Montes '29 also posted a career-best performance, carding an impressive 72 (E). Sophomore Cole Durham '29 added a 74 (+2), while eighth grader Anson Dover '31 rounded out the team scoring with a 77 (+5). With near-perfect scoring conditions and a challenging field, the Raiders once again showed they can compete with the best teams in South Florida. It was a terrific team effort and another strong performance for Raider Golf.
