Ransom Everglades sailing turned in a strong weekend of racing at the Cressy Singlehanded Nationals Qualifier in Sarasota, with all four Raider sailors posting top-five finishes across the ILCA 6 and ILCA 7 divisions. In the ILCA 6 Men’s division, Junior Sander Block '28 led the way for the Raiders, earning a second-place finish and securing a berth at the National Championship with his outstanding performance. Teammate Pablo Muñoz Montes '29 also finished on the podium, placing third in a competitive field. Junior Elisa De Becker '28  represented Ransom Everglades in the ILCA 6 Women’s division, racing to an impressive fifth-place finish. In the ILCA 7 Men’s division, junior Brayden Zawyer ’28 added another podium finish for the Raiders, placing third and finishing just one point shy of qualifying for the National Championship. With four sailors competing and three Raiders finishing on the podium, it was an impressive weekend for Ransom Everglades sailing in Sarasota.
