Raiders roll on senior night, improve to 17-3

The Raider girls volleyball team celebrated senior night in style Thursday evening, cruising to a three-set victory over Pinecrest North Prep to improve to 17-3 on the season. Before the match, the Raiders honored five seniors who have made significant contributions to the program: Valentina Pombo ’27, Sarah Wals ’27, Myla Zuckerman ’27, Phia Ranawat ’27, and Jessie Tao ’27. The seniors then took center stage on the court, helping lead the Raiders to a dominant straight-set victory. Pombo and Wals combined for 15 kills and four aces, while Zuckerman added seven digs. Ranawat contributed two kills and three digs, and Tao finished with four kills and two digs. It was a memorable senior night for a group of Raiders who have helped make this season one to remember. Congratulations to Valentina, Sarah, Myla, Phia, and Jessie on a special senior night and for all they have contributed to Raider volleyball! The Raiders won't have to wait long for their next challenge. The team will quickly turn its attention to a special matchup this evening, traveling just down the road to take on Carrollton as the programs come together to celebrate Dig Pink and Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
