Beber-Frankel twins finish in top 10 at states

Phoebe Beber-Frankel '20 tied for fifth place individually and led the district champion Raiders to 11th place as a team in the Florida High School Athletic Association Class 1A state championship Oct. 29 at Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. Beber-Frankel's twin Jake Beber-Frankel '20 tied for 10th overall in the boys' division.
She shot a 70 and 74 for a two-day total of 144; he a 78 and 75 for a 153. RE's girls' golf team got help from Rachel DeAngulo '20 (88-82—170), Megan Houchin '19 (95-85—180) and Katherine Cochran '18 (106-107—213).
