RE's chess team claims fourth place

The Ransom Everglades chess team finished fourth overall at a Nov. 5 tournament at Divine Savior Academy in Doral as Ben Shapiro '18 claimed third individually out of 26 competitors. Shapiro was joined by Thor Wahlestedt '18, Eric Plass '18, Guillermo Wenrich '17 and Ezekial Adreassen '18 on RE's fourth-place team.
Shapiro won three of four rounds, with one draw. Wahlestedt finished 10th, winning two out of four games.
