RE crew earns four top-15 finishes in Tennessee

RE's crew team put forth its best performance ever at the Head of the Hooch regatta in Chattanooga Nov. 5-6, posting four top-15 finishes and nine top-20 placements in a regatta that attracted more than 2,000 participants and 200 rowing clubs and high school teams nationwide.
Gabrielle Ouellette '18 claimed sixth in the women's youth novice single; the men's youth 4x team of Artem Zalivchiy, Shovan Bhatia '18, Andres Segrera '19 and Gabriel Echarte '18 got seventh; the women's youth lightweight 4+ team of Baylar Ratzan '17 (coxswain), Ines Pinilla '18, Sophia Elliott '18, Alana Miro '17 and Ouellette earned seventh place; men's youth 4+ team of Ratzan (coxswain), Chris Carlos '17, Jordan Mishael '17, Omry Alfi '17 and Ryan Schwartz '18 finished 11th; and Mishael claimed 12th in the men's novice youth single.

The team was led by coach Francisco Viacava.
