Ransom Everglades won four of the top five prizes at the 2016 South Florida Fall History Bee and Bowl on Nov. 19. RE's Academic Team of Sean Becker '17, Chris Duyos '17, Ryan Guillen '17 and Alejandro Sannia '17 topped 30 teams in the Varsity History Bowl; Duyos and Timmy O'Brien '17 got first and second, respectively, in the Varsity History Bee; and Lucas Miner '20 got first in the Junior Varsity History Bee.
The event was held at the Archimedean Upper Conservatory in Kendale Lakes. Thirty-eight teams overall participated.
Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida.
