The math team concluded its season with top-10 finishes in the state in more than a dozen categories as well as 12th overall at the Mu Alpha Theta Statewide Mathematics Competition in Orlando on April 7. John Mistele '17 and Joon Kim '17 led the team with a first place in the "Gemini" competition.
Guillermo Wenrich '17 finished third in statistics, and Mistele, Timmy O'Brien '17 and Pancho Cabrera '17 got third in computer science. All told, the Raiders, coached by math teacher Karen Key, landed 24 top-20 finishes.
